  • Red bell pepper1
  • Potatoes400 g
  • Frozen green beans200 g
  • Frozen peas150 g
  • Tomato passata200 ml
  • Borș (fermented bran sour)750 ml
  • Lovage1 bunch
  • Parsley1 bunch
  • Bread1

Method

    Bring 2 l of water to the boil with the diced onion, carrots, parsnip and celeriac.

    After 15 minutes add the potatoes, pepper, green beans and peas; cook for 15 minutes more.

    Add the passata and the separately boiled borș; simmer for 5 more minutes.

  4. 4

    Turn off the heat, stir in the chopped lovage and parsley and season with salt. Serve with bread.
